MathCraft Adventures ("we", "our", or "the app") is an educational math game designed for children. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users, especially children under 13. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to provide the game experience:
- Account information: Email address and optional username when you create an account.
- Game progress: XP, level, coins, inventory, hero selections, and other in-game data needed to save your progress.
We do not collect:
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Photos, contacts, or other device data
- Payment or financial information
- Analytics or behavioral tracking data
Guest / Quick Play Mode
Users can play without creating an account. In guest mode, game data is stored only on the device (local storage) and is never sent to our servers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data solely to:
- Save and restore your game progress across devices
- Authenticate your account
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Account and game data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with row-level security. Each user can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is necessary to operate the game. We do not use children's data for behavioral targeting or advertising.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Supabase's privacy policy can be found at supabase.com/privacy. We do not use any other third-party services that collect user data.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
